What To Expect As A Delivery Associate (DA)

  • Our customer, Amazon, entrusts TFD with delivering their packages on time, safely and professionally without fail. It is our Delivery Associates/Drivers (DAs) that make that happen. TFD is committed to providing our DAs with all the training, tools and support they need to accomplish their daily mission. 

  • Our DAs work between two and four 10-hour days a week depending if they are full or part time. At the beginning of the day we will work as a team to load our delivery vans ready to launch from the Bremerton station. Each DA is equipped with a smartphone and tablet and a GPS tracker. In a typical 10-hour shift a DA will deliver 200-300 packages a day. 

  • You will be an integral part of a high-performing driver team, with professional company uniforms and top-quality equipment. Our Operations team will continually monitor your progress throughout the day and assign you with additional support and resources when you need it to remain on schedule and complete your daily deliveries.

Delivery Associate (DA) Position Overview:

1. We deliver packages to residential and commercial locations along the Peninsula and Puget Sound region. We are committed to safety, professionalism, integrity and exceptional customer service.  

2. Medical and Dental coverage.

3. Performance Bonuses: Daily goal met, Assist another driver, Referral program.

5. Estimated Weekly Hours: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week. (exact hours TBD)

6. Estimated Pay: between $16-17/per hour plus bonuses.

7. Paid driver training during the first week.

8. Driver delivery route: start and finish in Bremerton. (specific routes TBD)

9. All drivers should have dependable transportation to get to work. We provide Amazon-branded delivery vans for the actual deliveries.

10. A dedicated Operations Team that has your back 24/7 and is committed to supporting you in your role.

 
 

Eligibility - To qualify you must satisfy the following:

  • Eligible to work in the US.

  • Valid Washington State drivers' license and a clean driving record.

  • At least 21 years of age.

  • Able to lift packages weighing up to 50lbs.

  • Able to pass a background check, motor vehicle check and drug screening (includes marijuana).

  • Able to get in and out of a van and walk up and down stairs throughout a 10-hour shift (in a 10-hour shift each driver will deliver 200-300 packages per day)

  • Ability to use mobile technology including smartphone/tablet, GPS and route delivery software.

  • Must be committed to safety as a top priority and comfortable working in a fast paced environment; possess good communication skills and is passionate about customer service. Thrives in a team atmosphere - believes in the "WE", not the ME. Loves to drive, enjoys the satisfaction of a job well done.

  • Should be a strong defensive driver and very comfortable with a full-sized vehicle. Delivery experience is a plus.

Additional Details:

  • During the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are focused on providing a safe and healthy work environment for you as much as possible. We will provide driver PPE (including masks and cleaning supplies).
